This is the finished product. Aren't they cute? Not to mention disposable, biodegradable, and environmentally safe.

It doesn't matter what type maxipad you use. Just grab whatever you have lying around the house. The best part is that they come in three convenient sizes: regular, light day, and super absorbant.

You need four maxi pads to make a pair of slippers. Two of them get laid out flat in front of you, for the sole of the foot. The other two wrap around the toe area to form the top of the slipper. Tape or glue each side of the top pieces to the bottom of the foot part.

Get out your hot glue gun and embellish to your heart's content. Tada!!

How creative, with the decorations and all!
Are those your pretty little feet?
I have seen these before-but not as pretty. They given for women who are beginning menopause.
Ha! I love the idea of using these as menopausal gifts. You'll probably be making them for me in the not too distant future. You realize, BTW, we did not actually make these things. I do not go all the way to Japan to buy my kotex. And I certainly don't spend that much time and/or energy on my pedicures.
