Seriously! I went to bed after 2:43 a.m. My children woke up four hours later. What on earth is wrong with me?!
Oh, yeah, I became a "blogger".
It's already much more labor intensive than I imagined and it's making me a wee bit crazy. Generally, I would describe myself as a slacker. Quite frankly, I don’t have a lot of ambition. Surprisingly, I seem to attract Type A personalities. Most of my friends are extremely anal. Yes. You know who you are. I know I drive you crazy. With my lackadaisical lifestyle. I let my children play in the sand pit. And, egads, they draw with chalk, markers and paint. I have a messy pantry. And please don't look into my fridge. It’s enough to push you over the edge. You would think I'm all mellow yellow. But, really, I tend to grab onto something and obsess about it until I'm on the verge of insanity. Unfortunately, that one thing is usually not something as practical as the desire to have a clean house or a balanced checkbook. Currently, that desire is this blog. It’s making me insane that I cannot figure out how to do personalize my template. Back in the day, I was self taught at HTML. But now, that’s not enough. I need CSS. And PHP. I have been at this computer for hours. Wasted time. But I can’t seem to make myself step away. Why, oh why, didn’t I marry a web geek? The sad thing is that in my house, I am the web geek. The Boy Child blatantly calls me a computer geek. I know! It’s utterly flattering but, sadly, untrue. I am severely lacking in my web designing skills.
How come Dooce makes this look so easy?

Dooce does make this look easy, doesn't she? I'd have some choice words for that, if only she were here to defend herself, lol. No, kidding. I stalk her page on a a daily basis. I'm trying to read everything from the first post on her page. Amazing stuff!! Totally love her.

Actually, your web layout is one of the coolest I've ever seen. And, because I'm the "anal A" type...I'll probably be in a bad mood until I get me one of those layouts, too.
